We initiate games of theatrical and vocal improvisations, through which the group and each participant individually can explore the variety of bodily sound sources and the immediate connections with the surrounding space. We play with the acoustic realm of words, the melodies of sentences and the transitions between speech and singing.
The vocal training is in close relation to physical movement and imagination. Therefore, we give time, and focus on opening these channels to let the voice appear in its different and changing forms. At the same time, it is a constant shifting of attention between an inner and outer space, while connecting with a sounding and audible world. We observe the multitude of colourful characters that appear in us and the others through the voice. Eventually, it all comes together as an extended mode of listening, in which the whole body is involved.
