The Weaving Voices Erasmus+ project ended in 2024 with eight Dissemination Events in six countries: England, Sweden, Holland, France, Germany, Hungary.
The purpose of the events was to share the results of the Weaving Voices project in the frame of an exhibition (photos, woven carpets, videos, plant dyed textiles…etc) and present the “Weaving Voices as threads of communities” which is the main result of the two years long international cooperation.
During the series of these events the partnership shared also practical work on the field of weaving and singing methodologies.

A video made by Christiane Hommelsheim ( https://www.christianehommelsheim.de/ ), in Reichenow, January 2023 during the Weaving Voices as Threads of Community Erasmus+ project. The video was created as a material for the project exhibitions, while it stands also as an independent piece.
The video has been recorded during a voice improvisation while participants individually has taken place in a separate black room to listen the sounds of the improvisation. The spectator of the video can hear the choir improvisation and see the micro-movements on the face of the hearing person which together can create a poetic montage in the mind of the spectator.

This is how we handed over the community carpet of Szalatnak Község Önkormányzata as the main aim of our “walking performance” on the 8th June 2024, where during the walk we recalled from the past different stories which then met and merged in one carpet as different threads of life-stories. Thank you to all the participants and to the Weaving Voices as Threads of Community Erasmus project.
