The dissemination phase of the Weaving Voices project, organised by Soharoza, took place
in multiple locations and formats, reaching a diverse audience.
The first leg occurred in two cities, Eger and Pécs, where we collaborated with the inhabitants of the Leo Amici Rehabilitation Center in Komló to deliver theatre performances.
These performances, attended by approximately 150-200 people, primarily included
relatives, social workers, and individuals connected to addiction. The performances were
based on the personal stories of the inhabitants working with their addiction. While the performances traditionally use movement and text, Soharóza contributed musical and vocal elements, enriching the emotional depth and resonance of the experience.
The Budapest event took a different approach as an interactive presentation of our journey.
During this event, we shared stories of our travels through photos and recordings,
taught the audience songs, and introduced them to weaving as an art and community form.
This event was intimate and personal, building a strong connection between the presenters
and the audience.
